TGI attends youth philanthropy conference

This past weekend, members of our Teen Grantmaking Initiative (TGI) attended the annual Youth Grantmakers Summer Leadership Conference. The event drew more than 300 youth philanthropists and their advisors from all over the Midwest and beyond.  The teens had plenty of opportunities to explore social issues, attend workshops, and trade ideas and socialize with like-minded young people. One of the highlights for TGI was the ‘Survivor Game,’ an interactive simulation of what life is really like for those living in poverty. Overall, the teens had a great time and can’t wait to attend next year!
